PROGRESS HORIZONS TECHNICAL WORKSHOP – July 15th, Thorpe Park Hotel and Spa, Leeds

We are pleased to invite you to the latest Progress 'Horizons' Event. This will be held at the Thorpe Park Hotel and Spa, Leeds, LS15 8ZB www.thorpeparkhotel.com on Wednesday July 15th. The event will be from 10.00AM - 3.30PM, and will include lunch and refreshments.

The workshop will cover the latest release of Progress OpenEdge10.2 - the new features, how they can be used, and the net affect i.e.; how they will improve your existing Progress application and make your life easier!!! The technical presentations will centre around two themes - application USER INTERFACE and application/data INTEGRATION.

The event is for a technical audience, and will provide information (through technical presentation and demonstration) according to the below agenda:

• 10.30 - 11.15: OE10 overview - what are the new features of OE10.2 (incl OE Explorer and Management)

• 11.15 - 11.30: Coffee Break

• 11.30 – 11:50: New UI features – OpenEdge GUI for .NET, OpenEdge Ultra Controls for .NET, etc. (This session will be a practical demonstration, and Q&A is encouraged.)

• 11.50 – 12:45: OpenEdge GUI for .NET Toolkits – Mike Fechner of ConsultingWerk (Germany)

• 12.45 - 13.30: LUNCH

• 13.30 – 14.30 OpenEdge Integration - new OE10 features - Native Sonic integration, SAX/DOM writers and webservices

• 14.30 - 15.15 Actional and MindReef - how they can assist managing and monitoring your business integration
